On that day, a delegation led by Amb Babagana Wakil, the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Nigeria in China, visited Qingdao. They conducted in-depth exchanges centering on the layout of the supplementary power system of the national power grid. Mr Eric Wu, the general manager of Allian Power, and Mr Charles Liu, manager of the marketing department, jointly received the delegation. Both sides had in-depth discussions on the cooperation of the supplementary power system.
Mr Babagana Wakil enthusiastically invited Qingdao Allian Power Technology to invest and build factories in Nigeria so as to better serve the people of Nigeria. He stated that Nigeria is rich in ore and natural gas resources. As a supplementary power resource for the power grid, generator sets can provide support for local mineral excavation. Meanwhile, the abundant natural gas resources can be used as the energy source for generator sets. In areas that are not covered by the national power grid, the people of Nigeria can use electricity in a more economical, environmentally friendly and safer way.
Amb Babagana Wakil highly recognized the technological concepts of Qingdao Allian Power. He said that Nigeria attaches great importance to cooperation with China in the energy field, and the technology and experience of Allian Power are of great significance for the development of Nigeria’s new industries. Nigeria is willing to carry out in-depth cooperation with Allian Power and jointly explore new paths for sustainable development.
Mr Eric Wu, the general manager of Qingdao Allian Power, extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Nigeria in China. He said that Nigeria has always been a firm partner of China in jointly building the “Belt and Road Initiative”. Qingdao Allian Power hopes to utilize its professional advantages in the energy field to help Nigeria promote the high-quality development of local new industries in areas that are not covered by the urban power grid.
