On the afternoon of that day, the Shandong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade (SCPIT) delegation, which included Qingdao Allian Power, was invited to visit the Malaysian Machinery Manufacturers Association (Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Machinery Association). The Malaysian hosts extended a warm welcome to the 23-member delegation from the Shandong Intelligent Machinery Manufacturing Industry Association (SIMMIA), facilitating a candid, efficient, and highly productive exchange.
In his welcome address, Mr. Lim Meng Sui, Vice President of the Malaysian Machinery Manufacturers Association and President of the Selangor & Kuala Lumpur Machinery Association, commended Shandong Province as a leading manufacturing powerhouse in China. He highlighted its innovation and production capabilities in steel, aluminum, foundry technology, machine tool manufacturing, intelligent power machinery, rubber machinery, agricultural machinery, industrial upgrading, and international development.
President Lim expressed appreciation for the SIMMIA delegation's special visit, noting that their long journey from Shandong demonstrated the high value Shandong enterprises place on the Malaysian market. He stated that the collaboration between the two associations has built a solid bridge for industry cooperation between the two countries.

President Lim expressed his hope that the exchange would enable both sides to share experiences in key areas such as precision machinery manufacturing, steel and aluminum casting, and green processes. He emphasized exploring new models for building cross-border industrial chains and creating more business cooperation opportunities for member enterprises. Against the backdrop of warming China-ASEAN trade relations and the flourishing Belt and Road Initiative, he expressed firm belief that cooperation between the Malaysian and Chinese industry associations will pave the way for a new chapter of mutual benefit.
Mr. Zhou Liang, leading the SCPIT delegation, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and provided an overview of the development of Shandong's intelligent machinery manufacturing industry. He looked forward to deeper cooperation between Shandong and Malaysian enterprises in machinery manufacturing, equipment upgrades, and energy power. He emphasized that this collaboration should be elevated within the broader context set by the top leaders of both nations: "working hand-in-hand to build a high-level China-Malaysia community with a shared future and ushering in a new 'Golden 50 Years' for bilateral relations."
